Ingredients:
- 1 baguette, sliced
- drizzle of olive oil
- ½ cup pesto of choice
- ¼ cup crumbled blue cheese
- 5 fresh figs
- toasted pine nuts and chopped chives for garnish (optional)
Preparation:
Step 1: Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Step 2: Slice baguette into 10 – 12 slices. Drizzle baguette slices with olive oil and toast for 5 minutes.
Step 3: Once the toasts cool slightly, spread pesto evenly over the slices.
Step 4: Top with crumbled blue cheese, and fig slices.
Step 5 (optional): Sprinkle toasted pine nuts and chopped chives over tartines as a garnish.
