  • Best Double-Duty Blanket

    The swaddle scarf/blanket from Coveted Things is really big, so it works great as a swaddle, a scarf, a nursing cover, a stroller or car seat cover, or a photo-shoot backdrop. Plus, they all have sweet or funny sayings, giving them lots of personality.

  • Best Classic Swaddle

    Aden + Anais is the go-to swaddle blanket brand for good reason. The cotton muslin makes them the perfect swaddles, but the prints are super cute, too. Every parent should have a set of these in their blanket arsenal.

    Every baby should have a super soft and cuddly blanket, and my favorites come from Saranoni. You can get a receiving blanket size, a smaller lovey, or a full size for mom-and-baby snuggling. These are a must-feel!

    My favorite sweater blanket is by Wren and Rumor. The colors, patterns, prints, and weight make the perfect blanket for some tummy time or as a stroller blanket during chilly walks.

    Angel Dear makes the softest and sweetest little lovey blankets for baby. They are great for cuddling, sucking, and comforting.

    I love a good baby quilt. It doubles as a playmat, can match your nursery, and make a great keepsake for your child. The Land of Nod has so many great, affordable options, and I love how they work with independent designers.

  • Best Knit Blanket

    Like the blanket you wish your aunt would knit for you, but done in a more modern way, the blankets from Koko's Nest are beautiful, soft, and don't scream "baby."

    Fans of the well-loved Solly Baby Wraps (me included) were thrilled when they launched their swaddle sets. Made of the same soft and slightly stretchy material, these blankets come in beautiful colors, are great for a good tight swaddle thanks to their large size and stretch, and come in a set of two.
