When it comes to affordable play things Fisher-Price is as good today as it was back when I was a kid (my toddler has literally been playing with this nearly every day while next me during my workouts for months). Now the brand has gone highbrow with a collaboration with FriendsWithYou, the artist duo known for their unique pop positive visions, to launch Fisher–Price Happy World line from FriendsWithYou.
The collaboration was inspired by the aesthetic and adorable characters from FriendsWithYou’s Happy World, which the artists created to” highlight the important relationship between humans and nature.” The collection spans from birth to 6 months+.
If you’re not familiar with FriendsWithYou, you’re probably familiar with their creative collaborator Pharrell Williams – king of “Happy” who said about the collection: “The playful aesthetic and characters of FriendsWithYou lift spirits wherever they go. Their work makes people smile. When we came together to create Happy World, we set out to bring new levels of joy, playfulness and design to a universe of baby products. Kids will love it and parents will love it too.”

Moon Picnic’s My Weather Station is another recent favorite discovery. It’s so unique and such a fun way to teach our little ones about weather! It’s interactive, fosters imaginative play, is beautifully crafted and all-the-while teaches them about something that will be critical for their every day life.
For older kids who are actively moving Lily & River Little Steps is like Twister, but better for fostering creativity. It comes with six brightly colored wooden steps that are easy for little hands to carry and place wherever they like. In addition to boosting creativity, the steps help with balance and coordination, and therefore confidence. This is perfect for getting energy out before bedtime!
