Getting out the door sometimes can be pretty hectic as a mom—especially when you want to look your best. Here’s a quick three-step ponytail tutorial for looking polished and pretty in a jiffy. I call this style The Flirty Pony, and it’s a great alternative for everyday, festive gatherings or a night on the town. Flirty and fast…what’s a girl not to love? Supplies:
- Teasing comb
- One rubber band
- Firm holding hairspray
- Hair pins
- Curling iron (optional)
Instructions:
Step 1: Curl your hair with a large barrel curling iron if you wish for your hair to have some extra bounce (and if you have time). This first piece is optional. Next, split your hair into four sections: crown, left, right, and bottom. Place your bottom hair into a ponytail (you can opt for either a low ponytail or one that’s more ear level) and secure with an elastic band.
Step 2: Tease your crown, resting and pinning it against your ponytail.
Step 3: Gather and pin your sides against your ponytail, completely covering your rubber band.
Voila—your’e done! Flirty in a flash—now you’re ready for the mom midday dash or a date night with the hubby.
