Wednesday is a spin-off story of the character Wednesday Addams of the Addams Family movies and show. The show is filled with dark humor and sometimes morbid or frightening scenarios but in done in a playful and lighthearted way. The show is best suited for older audiences that aren’t easily frightened. The story-line focuses on stereotypes and outsiders. There are bullies that make assumptions about and tease characters. Wednesday is a confident character who cares deeply about her family and others.
